When to expect first salary of 7th pay commission

If you are central gov employee and if you think that  you will get hiked salary on January 2016 month end because of 7th pay commission recommendation, you are wrong. Even if 7th pay commission recommendation will be implemented from Jan 2016, it will be implemented only after appoval and notification from central Gov.

7th pay commisson will submit the recommedation to the Central Government of India. The last date for subbimmission for report is 31st Dec 2015. Once Gov will receive the recommendation, Government  will review the fulll recommendation thoroughly . Reviewing the 7th pay commission recommendation will take some month.

If Gov will act fast, it may issue notification in April, 2016. After notification, all central gov employee and pensioner will get new salary and pension. Employee and pensioner will also get arrears which comes from the calculation of implemented pay from Jan 2016.

If you see previous recommendation i.e. 6th pay commission, central gov had taken lot of time  to implement. 6th pay commission recommended first salary came in year around 2008. Of course, people got the arrears from Jan 2006 along with first salary of 6th pay commission recommended pay.

First salary expected date of 7th  pay commsion depends on two factor

1. Will 7th pay commission submit report in time (i.e. before 31st dec 2015)?
2. How much time will central Gov take to review the 7th pay commission recommendation and  issue notification ?

 By observing previous trends, i can say first hiked salary from 7th pay commission recommendation will come after Oct 2016 most probably.

Retirement age 33 years of service (Just Rumor) for 7th pay commission

If you are worried that there will be new provision in 7th pay commission recommendation to reduce the retirement age of 33 year of service or 60 year of age which ever comes first, you need not to worry,  as there is not any official information came from Indian gov agency to confirming the same.

These are all rumors. It will not be easy to implement such drastic new rule for central Gov job in India. If such rule will become valid, lakhs of gov employees will get retired before they expected.

Many people join Indian gov job at the age of around 22 year, if the retirement age of 33 year of service will become reality then the retirement age of such gov employee will be 55 year of age.

Many gov employee are not earning well at the initial year of service from salary. Large percentage of entire service life earning from salary comes from last 4-5 year of service only. So reducing  retirement age of 33 year of service will have great impact on financial security of gov employee after retirement.

People can expect with high probability that there will not come such provision in 7th pay commission recommendation, but people should make their financial plan in such a way that if Gov will actuality implement this rule, they should be able to manage well financially and should be able to work on another field after retirement for more earning.

If the rule is implemented it will be great news for student who want to join Gov job, as there will be more vacancy. Young Gov employees will also get benefited as they will get fast promotion and more responsible job. Government will also get benefit from these provision if implemented as they will be able to save lot of money.

7th Pay Commission for States including Delhi

Soon after implementation of 7th Pay Commission for Central Gov Employees, all States and union territories will soon apply new pay scale for the state gov employees which will be as equivalent to 7th Pay Commission for Central Gov Employee.

The timing of implementation of  new pay scale for States of India may very, some states will implement very soon but some other states which is having less fund available will implement the new pay scale with some delay. But it is sure that most of the states will implement the new pay scale within 1 and half year of implementation of 7th pay scale at center. i.e before June, 2017 (one and half year after January 2016). Employees of Delhi Government will get new pay scale fast.
Following stats and union territories are expected to follow 7th pay scale for their states gov employees.

7th pay commission implementation date 01.01.2016

It is expected that the date from which 7th Pay  commission commission will be Implemented is from 1st Jan 2016. The basis of the above date is that 6th pay commission pay scale got implemented from 1st Jan 2006.

It may be possible actual payment may take 1 to 2 year extra  or max 1st Jan 2018. You may get the arrears from 1st Jan 2016 for the 7th pay commission. The basis for above date is the actual notification of the 6th pay commission implementation came on year 2008.

So people who are planning the finance taking hike in salary in the account should only consider the increase in salary due to 7th pay commission will come in the year 2017 or 2018.
